Wow.....it's August15th already. That blows my mind.
My friend Christy was up from Ontario for a week and left EARLY this morning. It was really good (and really weird) to see her again. It's been like, 6 years since we've seen each other. So yeah. We had some fun. I think the best thing was going out to Bear Lake to visit Ashley Braun. Robyn came, and we say in a huge tire and LAUGHED our heads off for like, and hour and a 1/2. Wow, it was awesome. We went for a walk to try to watch the sunset and ended up doing the most HICKISH thing I've ever done. We threw rocks at a sign. ? And wow was it fun. :) Ashley wasn't very good at it, so of course we all laughed at her. :)
THEN this dog came bounding through the field and Ashley RAN away yelling, "A dog! There's a dog!" I was like, "Don't run! Throw rocks!" So we tried throwing rocks at it to make it go away...but it sure did not work. Eventually the dog got to us and jumped all over all of us. It was SO scary! I am deathly afraid of dogs, and this one was like, biting us and jumping into our faces and running over us. It was nuts! Christy was laughing her head off, which made me laugh despite my paralyzing fear :). Ashley and I were SCREAMING and laughing and trying to make the stupid dog go away. And I was laughing SO hard already from seeing Ashley do her Luke Skywalker Run... :) And ROBYN.....WOW Robyn was hysterical! She grabbed the phsyco dog's collar and started pounding it with her fist and yelling, "Stop! Stop it you...you....you stinking dog!" Ho man, it was random and so funny!
But in the end we found out that I am much more afraid of dogs than I thought I was. Bah ha! :)
Kaleb left for Moldova today, which is really exciting...and sort of not for me. :) I just hope it's a really really good experience. It's weird to sort of be the veteran of the travelling/missions trip thing. But I'm sure his attitude will be much different from mine (during the my trip), so he'll have an awesome time. :)
Anyway, my little sis, Jenevieve, is here with me, and she needs to have a nap, so off I go. She typed the title by the way. :) School is in like, 3 weeks....and Ashley's wedding is in 3 days. Woo hoo. Oh yeah, it was also her bachelorette party on the weekend, and it was fantastic. We had a lot of fun racing around GP in fancy dresses and random mismatched shoes. :) ANYWAY....peace. I gotta go.
