Waiting for the Sun...

Don't want to get too complicated. But it gets so dark that I can't see. Yeah it's a mad mad world. But I'm hoping...I'm tired of living in the shadows. But I'm not giving up on me. Yeah it's a sad sad world. But I'm waiting... *How long, O Lord?...How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? But I TRUST in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me.* *Psalm 13*

Here comes the bride....smaid.... :)

Oh boy. Ashley is getting married in like, a day. WAAAAAA!!!! So weird. It really honestly seems like yesterday and forever ago that we scoured bridal magazines for our ultimate dresses and for Ashley, honeymoons, and for me, flowers. :) Oh dear. Tomorrow is the rehersal/dinner, so I'm hoping that everyone will be in good spirits and that Ashley won't be all stressed out. I'm mostly excited about getting my hair done and the dance. :) Just being honest. Pictures will probably be fun, I'm sure Josh will have some witty things to say so we're all laughing and I'm HOPING that I won't get nervous at the ceremony. :) I'll either be totally stonefaced, or I'll bawl. Maybe I can find a happy medium.

School is in 17 days, and I'm SO ready for it to be here. I'm actually excited for my classes this year, and I'm pretty sure that the roommate situation will be alot better than it was at times last year. :) I look at my class shedule and think, "Oh yeah, no sweat." cuz I really don't have alot of classes. But I forget that I have to do Practical Work (camp days and marking for my dad), like 9 hours of piano a week, AND have a job. Woo hoo! I am going to be running hardcore all semester. Maybe I'll actually have to do homework on reading break this time around. :)

Oh yes, and my possible trip to Africa in May is not going to happen. I have to take my grade 8 piano exam in June, so missing a month of practice right before the exam is a BAD idea. BUT if I finish this grade, I'm DONE!!! Hurray! :) So I'll do that and hope for another chance somewhere down the line.

ANYWAY, I have stuff to pack, people to call, and hair to dye. I will write all about my killer dance skills with my 12-year-old groomsman maybe next week. :) Ha! :) Later days...
